The Job:
We are seeking a motivated Marketplace Specialist to support the Marketplaces team at Global Healing.
The role of the Marketplace Specialist is to oversee and execute on administrative and strategic tasks across Global Healing’s marketplace channels, primarily Amazon.com. Responsibilities will include day-to-day administrative management of product pages, competitor analysis, keyword/content optimization, keyword tracking, product launches, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Keeping products successful on marketplace channels, primarily Amazon.com. This includes monitoring high-value keywords and constantly tracking our positioning to ensure we are maintaining traffic to our product listings..
- Developing strategies to increase revenue and the conversion rate of products, including but not limited to: product page optimization, packaging/inserts, deal planning, bundling products, and more.
- Catching issues before they become bigger problems and notifying the appropriate individuals. Having key knowledge of selling policies, guidelines, and requirements on Amazon is critical (e.g., expiration issues, health claim issues, terms of service changes, etc).
- Utilizing a variety of tools on Amazon such as Helium 10, Keepa, Sellerise, Datarova, and Datadive to increase sales by optimizing our product pages for keywords and content.
- Working on other duties as assigned. This is an ever-evolving role and adaptability will be the key to success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
- At least 1+ year(s) of day-to-day experience working and managing an Amazon Seller Central account.
- Proven ability to maintain, manage, and grow revenue for products sold on Amazon, preferably supplements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a big emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with CSV files, macros, and pivot tables.
- Extremely strong project management skills, you will need to coordinate multiple, complex tasks daily.
- Must be self-motivated and extremely proactive, you come to the table ready with solutions to problems.
- Ability to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve issues quickly & effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge, as this role will work with a variety of tools and processes.
- Positive attitude, very reliable, and enjoys discussing strategy on the surface level, but also in detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle aggressive deadlines.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals, you enjoy facing challenges head-on.
Bonus:
- Experience with selling on other marketplaces besides Amazon (eBay, Walmart, Target).
- Background in the natural health industry.
- Actively embracing healthy living.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a start-up.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphic design software.
- Familiar with SEO and SEM tactics, as well as keyword research
- Experience in a product marketing role or copywriting role
