Your new role: Marketing Development Representative

Location: Plano, TX, United States
Potential Compensation: $55 000 to $60 000 OTE

As a Marketing Development Specialist at Cognigy, you'll support our marketing and sales teams in pipeline generation. As the first line of response, you’ll handle sales and marketing-related queries that are generated via content, webinars, social campaigns, events and website. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, high-energy "people person” who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact. Build experience towards a rewarding marketing or sales career with valuable experience and training in prospecting, communication, and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively reach out to potential customers who are interested in learning more about Conversational AI and AI Agents via email, Linkedin and phone and qualify them, playing a crucial role in helping the marketing team define and target customer fit.
  • Create and execute lead generation campaign concepts for social and email, leveraging Zoominfo and other tools.
  • Attend conferences, roundtables and events with the team, bringing your energy to attract prospects to the booth, generate quality leads, follow up with people you spoke with and help ensure goals are met.
  • Develop and fine-tune effective engagement strategy for pre- and post-follow-up from virtual events and webinars.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads, providing them with comprehensive background information and insights to facilitate the sales process and move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions and progress using CRM software (Hubspot), tracking key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in lead generation and sales development, proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Requirements

About you

  • 1-2 years experience at SaaS/software or technology related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, media or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A persuasive and persistent demeanor, with the ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude.
  • This is a full-time, hybrid remote/in-office position with a 5-day (40 hours) workweek. Office hours are typically from (9:00AM - 6:00 PM) from Monday to Friday.
