Manufacturing Project Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a manufacturing project manager, who will play a pivotal role in assisting the seamless transition of products from the design phase to full-scale manufacturing. This individual will be responsible for successful delivery of internal and external projects relating to prototyping and supply chain.

• Create and maintain detailed schedule and budget for manufacturing projects, present to stakeholders.
• Ensure inter-team coordination and communication as well as engagement with external collaborators.
• Define & manage manufacturing related project plans and drive the execution.
• Maintain detailed project tracking and documentation, including communicating regular updates with internal and external leaders.
• Collaborate closely with the prototyping/manufacturing team to build and execute quality management system.

Requirements

The minimum requirements we seek:

• BS/MS in chemical, manufacturing, mechanical or electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, design, or a closely related field.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project tracking software system such as MS project or Jira
• Experience in the management of manufacturing projects with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with management of projects in oil&gas or automotive fields
• Experience with fabrication methods and equipment (laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC machining, welding, etc)
• Project management professional certification
• Deep technical and engineering experience in fuel & energy conversion devices (engine, fuel cell, reformer, turbine, etc)
• Familiar with PLM software, Propel or 3DX preferred. SolidWorks/CATIA 3D modeling and drafting experience.

The salary pay range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000. The salary pay range is applicable to positions physically based in Houston, TX. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, job experience and physical location.
