As a Machinist/Manufacturing Trainee , We are looking for a Machinist/Manufacturing Trainee that's willing to be hands-on and desires to be trained. You will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality parts to meet our clients' needs. You won’t just be operating machines; you’ll be working as part of an enthusiastic team that values collaboration and communication. Plus, you’ll gain access to the latest technologies in the field!
Position: Machinist/Manufacturing Trainee
Location: Beaumont, Texas
- High School, GED, or experience in lieu of education
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screening including background checks, drug testing, and physical
- Must be able to complete basic mathematic computations
- Competent in basic computer skills and internet software knowledge
- Accurately and consistently follow detailed procedures in order
- Work collaboratively as part of a team with a professional attitude and a service-oriented mindset in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Available to work overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to withstand up to high physical demands: standing for long periods of time, frequently lifting forces up to 50 pounds, and exposure to normal shop hazards
Requirements
Responsibilities of the Machinist/Manufacturing Trainee include, but are not limited to:
- Reading manufacturing drawings
- Operating machine shop equipment (with opportunity in CNC equipment)
- Bandsaw
- Milling machine
- Drill press
- Engine lathe
- Hand Tools
- Measuring Tape
