About the Position:

The Logistics Manager will oversee all transportation and logistic operations for all products and customer orders.  The Logistics Manager will be responsible for controlling and predicting cost while supporting internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all transportation operations across all modes and geographies
• Work with leadership to create and implement logistics strategy to improve transportation performance, predictability, and cost
• Develop and monitor transportation KPIs to drive management reporting and continuous improvement
• Provide regular communication to all levels of the organization
• Lead all transportation procurement efforts, across all modes of transportation
• Build and maintain new and existing relationships with transportation providers
• Manage tracking/tracing and issue resolution for all transportation related activities
• Support cross-functional business partners to help Onnit achieve company initiatives
• Provide reporting to cross-functional partners and leadership that informs on the status of Onnit’s transportation network
• Work with internal teams to create Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and other required documents to facilitate shipments, both domestically and internationally

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of transportation experience
• Knowledge of state, federal and international transportation laws, and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills
