Job Description:
· Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
· Plan and schedule pre-paid LTL, partial & full truck load shipments based on customer orders and delivery requirements.
· Parcel Shipping, both domestic & international
· Communicate with the warehouse, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
· Track shipments and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and delays.
· Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, such as damaged goods or delivery errors.
· Auditing of transportation invoices
· Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
· Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, purchasing, and sales to coordinate logistics activities and support business objectives.
· Provide regular updates and reports to management on logistics performance and key metrics.
· Cross train with the Logistics Manager to book and track ocean and air shipments during peak season
Requirements
Qualifications:
· 2+ years previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management preferred.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel & Outlook, logistics software and systems, such as ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
· Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work.
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified Logistics Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional) is a plus.
