Full Job Description
Apex Informatics is seeking a skilled Linux SRE to join our team. As a Linux SRE, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of Linux systems and a passion for automation and problem-solving.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate system configurations and deployments using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Develop and implement monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of Linux systems.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and outages, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers and other teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize the performance of Linux-based applications.
• Provide on-call support and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Linux SRE or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
