What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Lead Product Designer to create intuitive, user-centered experiences that drive SPOTIO’s platform forward. The ideal candidate excels at understanding business and product strategy, and is able to shape and execute a design strategy (for both web and mobile) that helps SPOTIO achieve those goals. You’ll bring bold visions to life by translating complex concepts into simple, elegant solutions, including prototypes and design specifications.
As a collaborative designer reporting to the VP of Product Management, you’ll manage a team of two, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and bridge design and development to ensure cohesive execution and adoption of design systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences with speed and quality.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Apply strategic thinking to define and drive SPOTIO’s design vision, crafting innovative user experiences that align with the SPOTIO’s business goals and deliver measurable outcomes (e.g., user adoption, retention, NPS).
- Advocate for cohesive and scalable design systems that address the complexities of a multi-platform SaaS product, enabling efficiency and consistency across user interactions.
- Act as a design advocate, inspiring teams, influencing stakeholders, fostering a culture of user-centered innovation, and identifying opportunities to continuously iterate and evolve design strategies and systems.
- Customer-Centered Design
- Translate bold visions into clear, impactful concepts and designs. Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that offer simple solutions for complex customer needs.
- Lead the evolution of SPOTIO’s cohesive design system, ensuring brand alignment and adoption across teams.
- Leverage user feedback and data to identify pain points and create designs that improve User Satisfaction and product Adoption.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business strategy and design execution, ensuring every UX decision contributes to key company goals.
- Build strong partnerships across design and development, improving collaboration, processes, and customer experiences while continuing to deliver with speed, quality, and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of design experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing design teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing cohesive and impactful user experiences, including scalable design systems for web and mobile platforms.
- Experience designing an MVP product for a new market.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools, with a focus on collaboration and design system management.
- Experience in user research, including methodologies and analysis.
- Experience applying user research insights to shape design strategies, especially in data-driven, subscription-based environments.
- Experience using frameworks such as Design Thinking and Human Centered Design and being able to facilitate Design Sprints to help teams collaborate and create amazing experiences for customers.
- Experience leading Design Sprints with cross-functional team members to solve for complex customer needs.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for web and mobile applications.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Must be able to commute to Addison, Texas and work in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday.

SPOTIO Work Environment
This position is hybrid. We work in the office twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
