Lead Pre K Teacher

Kent International Academy is looking for a experienced Pre K teacher to join our team. The ages range from 3.5 to 5. Our main concern is that each child is well taken care of, and that the teachers have a good relationship with the parents. The ideal applicant will be bilingual in Spanish, and have, or be willing to earn, a C.D.A. or above. Duties include

• Follows all rules and regulations for both the center, and Tx Minimum Standards
• Assesses each child´s developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Able to create exciting lesson plans, follows the classroom schedule
• Maintains an attractive classroom, that encourages children to create and make their own decisions

Requirements

Must meet basic requirements of Tx childcare

Must have at least 2 years previous teaching experience in a licensed child care center

Knowledge of the Social-Emotional-creative needs, and children development

C.D.A. or 2 year degree in early childhood, or a related field
