Position Overview

The Compounding Lead will perform various production activities, including automated and manual processes. The Lead will work from a production schedule, producing multiple products. The Lead must meet deadlines while maintaining high quality, efficiency, and productivity. The initial responsibility will be to work in the liquid compounding area, which will then be introduced to powders.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety guidelines and be integral to workplace safety by participating in all safety initiatives.
  • Wear all appropriate PPE while working with the chemicals and equipment.
  • Setting up, staging, and performing complete production runs.
  • Keep track of all documentation, complete it, and follow all good documentation practices.
  • Weigh individual chemicals and ingredients to the desired weights required by the documentation and document all the correct information from the weighed ingredients to the batching documentation.
  • Work with maintenance to identify any malfunctioning or damaged equipment and have it repaired or removed from service.
  • Work as a resource with Research and Development on any changes that should be made to the batching procedures.
  • Cleaning is a large part of our role at Enviromedica, where we strive to maintain an exemplary cGMP environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A High School diploma, GED, or at least two years of experience as a cosmetics compounder.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is desirable.
  • Experience in GMP Manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry is preferred.
  • They will need the Ability to perform simple math calculations, including percentages and introductory algebra.
  • Basic MAC/PC skills. MS Office Suite basic skills.
  • Must be able to write and print legibly.
  • Must be able to lift 55 pounds.

Compensation

Depending on experience, this can range from $18-$23/hour.
