At the Children's Refugee Shelter, in association with Teneo Linguistics Company, we believe in guiding each child's journey with compassion and wisdom. We're looking for an experienced Lead Case Manager who can spearhead our case management efforts, providing empathetic guidance to our team and ensuring that each child receives the dedicated support they need for their journey towards safety and family unification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and mentor our team of Case Managers, guiding them through complex cases and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure well-coordinated and comprehensive care for each child.
- Lead the development, implementation, and review of individualized case management plans.
- Assist Case Managers in crisis intervention, providing appropriate referrals and resources as needed.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance, and relevant regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training activities, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of case activities, including progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Social Services, or related field; or a Bachelor's degree plus at least 3 years of progressive employment experience demonstrating supervisory and case management skills.
- Proven experience in child welfare, including knowledge of standards, best practices, quality assurance, and compliance.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and compassion.
- Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
