Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Labor Market Analysis Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers an hourly rate of $20/hr and provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience with labor market data and analytics. The intern will use JobsEQ, a leading labor market analytics tool, to create reports that help school districts make informed decisions regarding CTE and career pathway programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize JobsEQ software to extract and analyze labor market data relevant to school districts.
- Build comprehensive labor market analysis reports that provide insights on local and regional job trends, employment projections, and skills demand.
- Assist in the development of recommendations for school districts to align their CTE programs with high-demand industries and occupations.
- Collaborate with the CareerCraft team to customize reports based on the specific needs of each school district.
- Support in the presentation of labor market findings and data visualizations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity by ensuring all reports are based on the latest and most relevant labor market information.
- Document processes and best practices for creating labor market analysis reports to enhance team efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Economics, Data Science, Public Policy, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Passion for education and helping school districts enhance their career readiness programs.
