Journeyman (Pump Mechaanic)

As a Journeyman Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of pumps used in industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on pumps to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with pumps
• Replace worn-out or damaged parts in pumps
• Troubleshoot and resolve pump performance problems
• Perform pump alignments and balancing
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify pump issues
• Follow safety protocols and regulations
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure efficient pump operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Pump Mechanic
• Valid journeyman pump mechanic certification or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of various types of pumps and their maintenance
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with pumps
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to emergency calls
