Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, polish (with appropriate cleaning solutions) and vacuum floors in designated areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Wipe down countertops and other horizontal surfaces.
• Restock, clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and stalls.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners regularly.
• Collect and dispose of recyclable materials.
• Clean windows and mirrors as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to appropriate reporting manager.
• May perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and chemicals.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Consistent attendance and ability to follow a schedule.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Display energy and enthusiasm
• Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on and as a team
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Previous janitorial experience preferred including experience with power cleaning equipment.
