POSITION SUMMARY
The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of various technologies managed by the IT department, ensuring that all technological systems are up to date and operating efficiently. This person will focus on the administration of the company’s network infrastructure to include desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, network equipment and software applications. The IT Manager will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into CITYSQUARE’s systems and make recommendations for implementation. He/she will resolve complex issues regarding network operations, server and desktop installations and maintenance, crisis management, managed services, and backups. He/she ensures end user satisfaction by providing helpdesk support, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. He/she will provide general departmental support and coordination and record and maintain hardware and software assets and licenses. Excellent customer interface skills and the ability to effectively communicate with staff and management is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, network equipment, and software applications.
2. Migrates existing physical services to cloud based servers; familiar with Asure Cloud Solutions/Microsoft 365 preferred.
3. Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs.
4. Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement at the direction of the CFO.
5. Assists in developing IT related policies and procedures.
6. Assists in developing IT capital budget and strategy for future technology needs.
7. Monitor IT capital purchases and IT related repair and maintenance costs compared to budget, review with CFO monthly.
8. Coordinate mandatory quarterly Cyber Training; monitor staff performance of mandatory training; prepare reports for all CitySquare team members that are past due on training and submit to CFO on a routine basis.
9. Propose a plan to the CFO, with timelines, to assist CitySquare in transition from the current Managed Service Provider.
10. Assist CFO as CitySquare continues to evaluate all the various software related products currently being utilized; make recommendation for elimination or combination of products for the purpose of reduction of volume of products used as well as a reduction of costs.
11. Work with CFO, CPO, and program directors to determine technology related needs for the next budget cycle to ensure that all items needed are included in the operating (repairs/maintenance) and capital budgets.
12. Perform an initial inventory of all technology related assets; reconcile with current inventory listing to identify any variances; perform routine physical inventory counts on a routine basis as defined by CFO.
13. Ensure all technology related assets are properly identified using asset tab numbers and computer related asset listing is always current.
14. Assist Development department in completing any technology related grant applications.
15. Asset CFO with annual cyber insurance applications.
16. Cybersecurity – training, monitoring, compliance.
17. Back-up support for in—house data systems (HMIS, ETO, etc.), and ability to design and implement systems related to AI and automation.
18. Provide information to members and visitors on CitySquare’s various education and technology services.
19. Plan and implement network security, including firewalls, managing security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
20. Have working knowledge of security protocols.
21. Manage CitySquare’s phone system; work with vendor as needed.
22. Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, peripheral or network issues.
23. Install new software on users’ computers and perform computer upgrades through the addition of hardware and/or software.
24. Research hardware and software solutions as requested.
25. Handle local and remote support.
26. Record and maintain hardware and software assets and licenses.
27. Coordinate and log all incoming support requests via the helpdesk database.
28. Provide first level software and hardware support to end users.
29. Monitor computer usage to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
30. Actively plan, deploy and support technology for new and existing infrastructure and other needs across the organization.
31. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Microsoft A+/MCP certification a plus but not required.
Experience: 8-10 years’ experience in a Microsoft environment troubleshooting hardware and software issues preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and requests at one time and must have strong communication skills; strong documentation skills; must possess troubleshooting capabilities; experience with various versions of Microsoft Windows. Ability to work flexible hours as requested.
