At PXGEO, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inventory and Warehouse Manager to join our team. As the Inventory and Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for assuring that owned or leased assets are properly documented and maintained in accordance with statutory requirements, industry standards and best practice within the combined inventory, procurement, and maintenance system (TM Master).
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successful execution of company inventory strategy that improves daily operation efficiencies throughout the Company and maintain accurate inventory of assets in the warehouses.
- Ensure the Warehouse logistics tools and processes are optimized and meet the needs of the business.
- Identify & drive efficiency improvement opportunities through automation and data management.
- Collaborate with Operation/Vessel Managers, technical department to determine material requirements needed for new projects.
- Executes inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes inventory holding, maximizes stock tracking system, and ensure entry accuracy.
- Ensures incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedures.
- Provides support to ensure all inventory differences are identified, researched, cleared within a specified period.
- Organizes, manages, and assists in physical inventory counts.
- Ensures inventory counts are being performed on schedule with acceptable results and the proper documentation is being executed and filed.
- Generates and maintains computerized inventory records and reports including inventory changes in value.
- Collaborates with international warehousemen (agents) to transfer inventory from one location to another.
- Provides global inventory transparency and mitigate any audit deficiencies.
- Interfaces with Finance to ensure inventory value is properly booked and coded in accordance with company requirements.
- Travels to international and domestic operations to control assets in the different warehouses.
- Is Subject Matter Expert concerning Inventory Management ERP software, including Min/Max planning and participates in the development, implementation, and continued support of the global inventory system (TM Master).
- Ensure the integrity of the database and update Goods classification, organization, labeling and periodic inventory counts, Spare Parts creation, Components Creation in TMM, SFI Codes, Inventory Audit and write off process.
- Generates itemized, categorized list of materials for use in obtaining Strategic Sourcing bids.
- Develop procedures for equipment inventory, management, and distribution.
- Develop processes to ensure recertification of equipment is current.
- Establish the process and monitor for compliance to ensure proper access to manufacturer equipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local requirements and regulations, for controlled equipment.
- Collect, review, and analyze equipment data and costs to make recommendations to retire/replace or repair/modify.
- Provide scheduling and planning to the Business Units in developing the annual operating budget.
- Maintain Company assets and records in accordance with best practice.
- Facilitate vendor interaction to obtain information relating to equipment and equipment maintenance.
- Provide internal training of TM Master when required.
- Support the technical department for arranging maintenance requirements.
- Support the EHSQ objective of zero harm zero spill in any managed facility.
- Ensure responsible disposal or destruction of scrapped inventory & stock items.
- Abide by Company policies and procedures.
- Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions in the warehouse.
- Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure (NCR).
Requirements
- Should have at least 5 years of work experience in asset management; preferably in the offshore, maritime, subsea, or drilling industry.
- Must have knowledge of vessels or subsea with their associated equipment and inventory requirements.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision on site.
- Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
- Preferred TM Master (Tero Marine) Software experience. Experience with Equivalent (NS5, Maximo) will be considered.
- English is mandatory, verbal and written.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers, and vendors.
- Must be able/willing to travel internationally.
