About the Role:
As an Insurance Service Agent, you'll be the go-to expert guiding our adventurous customers through RV, boat, and motorcycle insurance options that fit their lifestyle. By actively listening and offering personalized recommendations, you'll shape the Roamly experience, working closely with our product teams to continuously improve our offerings. In this fast-paced, customer-centered role, your contributions will directly impact our mission to make insurance clear, accessible, and confidence-inspiring.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers on a variety of inquiries, from billing questions to policy adjustments, making their experience as seamless as possible.
- Manage policy changes via phone and email, ensuring each modification is processed accurately and professionally.
- Help customers understand their policy coverages by issuing certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, or binders as needed.
- Engage with customers at key moments, ensuring they have the right information and options to make confident insurance decisions.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in customer service, with an enthusiasm for working with travel or insurance-related products.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a strong customer focus is key.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and patiently assist customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook, with strong data entry and website navigation skills.
- Adaptability and empathy to handle a variety of customer personalities and situations with ease and professionalism.
- A team-oriented mindset, ready to contribute to a collaborative, high-energy work environment.
Where You’ll Work:
We love the energy of Austin’s east side and are excited to gather in our hip office space three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for team collaboration and connection. Salary: $22.00 to 24.50 DOE + potential to earn up to $3,000 in variable pay annually
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with potentially applicable laws. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and bonus dependent upon position.
