Industrial Estimator

1 Resource Group, a leading staffing agency focused on sourcing top-tier job candidates for professional, technical, and skilled trades, is seeking an Industrial Estimator who comes with experience in Piping, Civil, Structural estimating . The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating and pricing the construction costs of various projects and ensuring that the projects are completed within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates and bids for construction projects.
• Analyze and evaluate construction plans, specifications, and data to estimate construction costs.
• Evaluate and review blueprints, drawings, and other construction data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend meetings with project managers and clients to discuss bid proposals and construction costs.
• Use computer programs to create and modify construction cost estimates.
• Prepare and present reports to management regarding project status and construction costs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field ( Piping, Civil, Structural)
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to lead others.
• Familiarity with construction codes and requirements.
