Hospice RN Full-Time Weekends

Requirements

Seeking a Hospice RN in the Beaumont, TX and surrounding area!

Schedule: Must have availability Friday 5 p.m. until Monday 8 a.m.

Pay rate: $34-$35 per hr.

You'll be responsible for delivering the great care to hospice patients (and their families) we're known for when the need arises during weekend hours. Schedule includes 40 hours of pay but availability during weekend hours as needs arise is required. You'll have continuous administrative backup and another experienced nurse backing you up when it gets busy.

Responsibilities

• Meeting the healthcare needs of hospice patients by completing as needed and routine visits
• Working closely with the Hospice team, physicians and community partners in order to deliver optimal care
• Triaging any emergent needs and collaborating with physicians to provide comfort and quality care to each patient
• Communicating with medical professionals, the hospice team and others
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
• Providing services in accordance with agency policies and regulations that define scope of practice
• Participating in in-service programs
• Demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills

Requirements

• Hospice experience preferred
• Texas Nursing License
• Strong organizational and self-management skills
• Strong and compassionate customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license
