Position Summary
The Growth Coordinator will work with the Experience Team to research and implement strategies that drive member acquisition and revenue. This is an entry-level position with an emphasis on digital marketing and analytics. The Growth Coordinator will assist in developing external communications and messaging for new target audiences. They will be responsible for drafting, copywriting and editing promotional content, designing simple graphics, and growing our social presence through a storytelling lens. Their goal will be to ensure that our messaging is consistent, clear, and timely and that we are effectively utilizing our marketing platforms to do so. The Growth Coordinator will report to the Community and Partnerships Manager and collaborate with them to design and execute marketing, communication and community outreach initiatives to help us engage existing members and partners as well.
Primary Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility as a Growth Coordinator will be to coordinate external communications and marketing activities to regularly engage with Permanent’s audience.
- Campaign Management: Implement, and optimize marketing and growth campaigns across various digital channels (e.g., social media, email, paid ads, Google ads, etc).
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on performance metrics from campaigns to recommend data-driven optimizations. Implement A/B tests to improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities, including emerging platforms, tools, and tactics used by peers.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of growth campaigns and synthesize/present them to the leadership team.
- Lead Generation: Support the development and execution of lead generation efforts to acquire new members, nonprofit grantees, and mission partners.
- Represent Permanent: Attend events and conferences and promote Permanent’s brand with positivity and enthusiasm; Coordinate conference participation and administrative tasks that ensure successful participation and evaluation.

- Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create and promote engaging content that drives user engagement and conversion. Support basic graphic and layout design needs using tools like Figma and Canva.
- Product Development: Work with member success and product teams to disseminate insights on audience behavior and feedback to improve growth initiatives.
- Member Success: Prepare written tutorials and knowledge base support articles and support product quality assurance efforts as needed. Maintain an events calendar that includes events hosted by Permanent, our strategic partners, or others to support member goals;

We’ll be impressed if you also bring
- Experience in customer digital marketing/communications, preferably in a technology-focused company or nonprofit;
- Experience with email marketing tools like Mailchimp, crm tools like Streak, social management tools like Buffer, or design tools like Figma or Canva;
- Excellent reading, writing and communication skills, including comfort working in front of a camera or live video feed;
Time Commitment & Travel
Full time with a strong sense of conscientiousness.
Representing Permanent will require some travel throughout the year, usually 2-3 events located across the continental U.S. Travel within the continental U.S. is also required for an annual all-hands team retreat.
Location
Full consideration will be given to remote work candidates located within 3 hours of U.S. Central time zone.
Annual Salary
$45,000
