Front of House Baristas and Bartenders

Looking for friendly and enthusiastic persons to join our Terra Cafe Family. We have multiple FOH positions available. All-Star Baristas, All-Star Bartenders, All-Star Cashiers, All-Star Support Staff. We love to cross-train, so you have the availability to work in multiple areas of the café. Are you skilled in preparing delicious and beautiful coffee beverages? Do you have a great personality, and can make great tasting cocktails? An excellent candidate must be able to follow instructions, be creative, and is always willing to learn something new and be friendly! They must be adept in moving around the café and apt in multi-tasking. Self-starters, dependable hard workers, and happy people with a positive attitude are highly valued.

BARISTAS

• Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.
• Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures.
• Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Accurately handles payments, gift cards and cash tips.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings.
• Observe relevant health and safety standards.

BARTENDERS

• Prepare and serve beverages consistent with the Restaurant's creative (juice+)drink recipes.
• Basic knowledge of the iconic cocktails.
• Build Relationships with guests.
• Detail Oriented.
• Make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages and food.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
• Restock and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• 2 years' experience in a fast-paced & high energy environment

SUPPORT STAFF

• Ensuring the café is always a welcoming, safe, and sanitized environment.
• Running a multitude of beverages and food orders to the guest.
• Take orders and guest request as needed.
• Expediting orders ensuring they are correct and look great.
• Replenish and Restocking in the necessary areas of the café.
• Supporting other team members.
• Maintain restrooms and the outside perimeter.

CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Tends register.
• Ensures customers needs are met to the best of their ability.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Accurately credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings.
• Observe relevant health and safety standards.
• Expediting orders ensuring they are correct and look great.
• Keep register area neat and free of clutter and dust.

Requirements

TABC Certified

Texas Food Handlers

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be available to work weekends.
