ClearPointHCO is seeking Freelance Resume Writers/Career Coaches to join our team. As a women and minority-owned business specializing in Human Resource Consulting, Leadership Development Training, Resume Writing, Interview Preparation, and Career Coaching, we are dedicated to helping individuals craft compelling resumes, prepare for interviews, and navigate their career paths.

As a Freelance Resume Writer/Career Coach, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, tailoring resumes and providing one-on-one coaching sessions to help them achieve their professional goals. Our clients span various industries and levels of experience, providing you with the opportunity to engage with professionals from different backgrounds and assist them in showcasing their skills and accomplishments effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create customized resumes, cover letters, CVs, federal resumes, bios, and LinkedIn profiles that highlight clients' skills, qualifications, and achievements
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to provide guidance on job search strategies and career development
  • Assist clients in identifying their strengths and unique selling points, enabling them to stand out from the competition
  • Research industry trends and job requirements to ensure resumes are up-to-date and tailored to specific roles
  • Provide constructive feedback on resumes and offer suggestions for improvements
  • Develop effective cover letters and other job application materials
  • Stay current with industry best practices and new developments in resume writing and career coaching

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a professional resume writer and career coach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong dependability, work ethic, and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of various industries and job markets
  • Knowledge of current resume trends and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and resume writing software
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, or a related field (preferred)
