Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Franchise Education Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs for franchisees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to operate their businesses successfully. This role involves assisting in creating educational materials, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to franchisees during Induction.

Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development: Coordinating and executing comprehensive training programs for new and existing franchisees, covering all aspects of franchise operations, including company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Curriculum Design: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials including manuals, in person modules, videos, webinars, and workshops.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Lead in-person for franchisees, ensuring that all training objectives are met and that participants are engaged and supported.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and the competency of franchisees. Provide feedback and additional training as needed.
  • Training Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all training activities, materials, and participant progress. Ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of franchisees to identify areas where additional training or support may be needed. Develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Content Management: Assist in managing the collection of training materials and resources, ensuring that franchisees have easy access to the information they need.
  • Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from franchisees to continually improve training programs and materials. Adjust training strategies based on feedback and performance data.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that training programs remain relevant and compliant.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Performance, Onboarding Operations, and Athletic teams to align training programs with overall business goals and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably within a franchise system or similar business model.
  • Curriculum design and instructional delivery experience
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to develop engaging and effective training materials.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with franchisees and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with various educational technologies and platforms.
