Full Job Description

Finance and Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in managing a company's financial transactions. This position is responsible for handling both accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial records.  Reviewing and updating payroll and benefits.

This position can be based in our Dallas office, or it may be a remote opportunity for qualified candidates in other U.S. locations. #LI-Remote

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

 - Efficiently process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded, tracked, approved, and paid in a timely manner.

- Craft and dispatch invoices to customers for goods or services rendered, maintaining a professional and timely approach.

- Reconcile accounts and confirm the accuracy of financial transactions to uphold financial integrity.

- Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, keeping everything on track.

- Ensure precise documentation of all accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions.

- Keep a close eye on overdue accounts, following up diligently to facilitate timely payments.

- Support budget management and cash flow processes with keen attention to detail.

- Collaborate with various departments to guarantee accurate financial reporting across the organization.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports as required, contributing valuable insights.

- Update payroll semi-monthly to ensure all employee compensation is processed accurately.

- Assist during the open enrollment period and meticulously review records to verify that all employee selections are accurately reflected in payroll.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, welcoming them to the team.

 

Qualifications

 

-  Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable roles

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software, preferably Sage Intacct

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

 

Skills

 

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

- Time management and ability to meet deadlines

- Proficiency in data entry and financial record-keeping

- Understanding of tax obligations and reporting requirements

- Customer service orientation for vendor and client interactions
