Equipment Shop Helper

1 Resource Group is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Equipment Shop Helper to join our busy team. In this role, you will assist our skilled mechanics in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various types of construction equipment. Your contributions are vital to ensuring our operations run smoothly and that our clients receive top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics with routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Help in the preparation of equipment for servicing.
• Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of machines and tools.
• Assist in the inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Provide exceptional support to the shop team and complete tasks as directed by senior personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in a shop or related environment is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
