We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating effective communication within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain documentation, including seed variety information, test results, and quality control reports.
- Organize and classify documents using an electronic document management system.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all documents by implementing appropriate data protection measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify information for documentation purposes.
- Create, edit, and proofread documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain a library of standardized templates and forms.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for document generation, revision, and approval.
- Conduct regular audits to identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation practices.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for documentation management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration or technical writing.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology industry.
- Proficient in using electronic document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to documentation management.
- Familiarity with seed industry terminology and processes is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
