District Operations Manager

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a District Operations Manager to join our team of over 1,100 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the fire alarm, suppression, security, and sprinkler divisions.

• Coordinate and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair activities related to life safety systems.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Manage and evaluate team performance, providing guidance and training as needed.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain and improve operational excellence.

• Play a key role in developing strategies for business growth and expansion.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.

• Communicate status of all operations to the District General Manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience in managing fire life safety systems operations, in a leadership role.

• In-depth knowledge of fire alarm, suppression, security and sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair processes.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
