Full Job Description
Kahoot! is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the vision, strategy, and success of our K-12 US customer segment. As a key collaborator with the Kahoot! Executive Team, you will shape the roadmap for this business area, leveraging deep market insights to inform company-wide decisions. In this role, you'll partner with Product, Sales and Marketing teams to address customer needs, craft impactful commercial solutions, and lead strategic initiatives that accelerate product usage and drive revenue growth.
Your Role
Your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Kahoot! Executive Team to define and drive the vision and strategy for the K-12 US customer segment.
- Market Insight: Maintain deep expertise in the competitive landscape and market trends, ensuring insights are shared across the organization to inform strategic decisions.
- Customer Focus: Partner with Product and Sales teams to identify customer needs and uncover key business opportunities.
- Solutions Development: Transform customer insights, market dynamics, and segment strategy into impactful commercial products, services, and initiatives.
- Pricing and Packaging: Craft compelling value propositions, develop pricing strategies, and oversee the packaging of new products and features to drive market success.
- Representation: Act as Kahoot!´s primary spokesperson for the K-12 US segment, engaging with Kahoot! employees, customers, partners, owners, media and audiences at industry events.
- Initiative Leadership: Lead mission-critical initiatives, ensuring successful execution of strategic priorities for the segment.
- Operational Leadership: Lead and steer operations for the K-12 US segment, working closely with the Kahoot! Executive Team to align priorities and with the Kahoot! Product, Sales and Marketing teams to remove roadblocks.
The position is based in Kahoot!'s Austin, Texas office and will report directly to the Chief Solutions Officer in Oslo, Norway.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years in commercial Product Development and Management, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Industry Expertise: Background in the K-12 US Ed-Tech industry, with experience working across diverse customer groups, including students, educators, school administrators, and district leaders.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead strategic, company-wide initiatives across Products, Marketing, and Sales.
- Communication Strength: Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for presenting and advocating products and solutions publicly.
- Work Style: Flexible, collaborative, and results-driven approach to achieving business objectives. Able to both zoom out to see the big picture and zoom in to manage the details.
- Educator Insight (Preferred): Hands-on teaching or school administration experience is advantageous but not required.
