We are currently searching for a Director of Imaging Operations to join our team to expand into new markets.

Job Summary:

As the Director of Imaging Operations at Avalon Imaging, you will play a pivotal role in supervising departmental activities, ensuring the achievement of strategic and operational goals. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and functional excellence, managing employee engagement, staffing levels, budgeting, and compliance. Primary Job Responsibilities:

·       Lead the development and implementation of strategic projects and processes independently or through work teams.

·       Manage and develop staff to achieve overall objectives in terms of quality, service, and cost effectiveness.

·       Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.

·       Meet or exceed department turnover goals and employee engagement metrics.

·       Provide leadership and communication to maintain a competent and engaged employee group.

·       Build strategic relationships within and outside the department to achieve business goals.

·       Guide others in goal setting and ensure seamless, quality care across the health-illness continuum.

·       Serve as a key advisor on administrative matters related to Imaging Services.

·       Oversee department operations, projects, schedules, and activities to accomplish goals within set timelines.

·       Drive department service standards and activities to impact patient satisfaction.

·       Set goals, develop implementation systems, and ensure creative planning for healthcare delivery.

·       Ensure a safe and effective working environment, monitor safety plans, and oversee staff credentials.

·       Proactively optimize outcomes and information systems by monitoring and improving department workflow.

·       Ensure employee compliance with policies and procedures; take actions upon non-compliance.

·       Ensure compliance with all Business Practices standards and regulatory requirements.

·       Maintain imaging equipment to regulatory standards.

·       Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.

·       Develop and manage department operational budgets, approvals, and ongoing maintenance.

·       Create strategies to achieve financial targets and staffing needs, optimizing productivity and efficiency.

·       Obtain and manage human, financial, and physical resources within areas of responsibility.

·       Serve as an internal expert, developing and implementing training programs for staff.

·       Manage multi-site locations in the state of Texas.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree

Experience Requirements:

·       Minimum of three years of experience in radiology services in a people management role

Travel Requirements:

·    50% of the time between DFW and Odessa, TX

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Required:

·       MRI Accreditation- ACR Accreditation

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

·       Demonstrates skills and competencies necessary for the assigned job.

·       Proficiency in English language for effective communication.

·       Ability to interact confidently and effectively with others.

·       Leadership qualities, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills.

·       Analytical skills to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.

·       Extensive knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agency requirements.

·       Strong written communication and platform presentation abilities.

·       Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

·       Positive attitude and professional handling of confidential information.

·       Proficient in Radiology information systems.

·       Ability to involve, train, and include others in the development of departmental goals and programs.

·       Ability to travel on occasion to multi-site centers.
