Full Job Description
The Director of Finance & Accounting is located onsite in El Paso, Texas.
The Director of Finance & Accounting will be directly responsible for the Corporate Accounting Office with oversight for the U.S., Mexico, and India by establishing and maintaining financial strategies. The Director of Finance & Accounting will be responsible for policies, procedures, budgets, controls, and reporting systems that support the Company’s growth and maintain its financial stability. The Director of Finance & Accounting will present all reports to the various departments and individuals that require them on a monthly basis. The Director of Finance & Accounting will lead a global team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strategies to deliver financial insights for financial decisions across all countries.
- Directs Finance & Accounting system decisions (software and hardware) to maintain cloud-based tools to deliver required data in an on time and efficient manner.
- Manages budget processes across all sites and countries to insure on time and accurate completion.
- Manages monthly and quarterly presentations of all budgets, GM, CM, IS, BS and all other required reporting to all department heads worldwide.
- Responsible for People Management and Development in each country to ensure continuity, cross training, and developing future F&A leaders.
- Responsible for the oversight and management of all Country Controllers.
- Responsible for the oversight and management of all country Purchasing Managers.
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits, providing information to external auditors.
- Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances, making investments
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
Requirements
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s and/or CPA preferred
- Field Experience: At least 15 years of experience in the accounting field, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Position Experience: Direct experience with payroll, accounts payable, tax reporting, cash management, cost analysis, budgets, and financial statement preparation for a mid-size organization
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Experience with financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
