Location: Pittsburgh PA, Atlanta GA, Dallas, TX, Midwest Region, Waterloo, ON or remote
Salary
140,000 – 150,000 USD Annually

The Role

Lynx Software Technologies, a leader in Aerospace and Defense solutions, is seeking a Director of Recruiting to spearhead our talent acquisition strategy for experienced professionals and campus hires. As a private equity-backed company with a history of successful acquisitions, Lynx is at the forefront of innovation, delivering trusted software solutions for mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will bring 5-7 years of recruiting experience, a passion for building high-performing teams, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment shaped by growth and transformation.
Your Responsibilities
- Leadership & Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to meet the unique demands of the Aerospace & Defense industry.
- Manage and mentor a team of hiring managers to deliver results aligned with Lynx’s strategic objectives.
- Experienced & Campus Hiring Programs:
- Build and maintain pipelines for experienced hires with specialized skills critical to Lynx’s growth.
- Cultivate partnerships with top universities to attract early-career talent in engineering, technology, and related fields.
- Represent Lynx at career fairs, industry events, and campus recruitment initiatives to strengthen our employer brand.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with leadership to design hiring plans that support Lynx’s growth as a private equity-backed organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the technical and leadership competencies needed for success.
- Integration of Acquisitions:
- Leverage your expertise to support talent acquisition needs during acquisitions, including assessing talent, managing integration efforts, and driving cultural alignment.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
- Drive DE&I initiatives within the recruitment process, ensuring Lynx attracts and hires talent from diverse backgrounds.
- Continuous Improvement & Compliance:
- Utilize recruitment metrics to refine strategies and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure all recruiting practices comply with applicable laws, particularly within the highly regulated Aerospace & Defense industry.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related fields (preferred).
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, ideally within private equity-backed or Aerospace & Defense companies.
- Proven track record of reducing time-to-hire metrics and building efficient recruitment systems.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and change management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment automation tools.
- Familiarity with Rippling Recruiting is a plus.
- Knowledge of Aerospace & Defense Industry.
