Our partner seeks a Director of DevOps & Site Reliability in Dallas, TX, offering a hybrid work model. The role involves managing the infrastructure for travel supply distribution, leading initiatives to enhance reliability, scaling, management, and developer empowerment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for DevOps & Site Reliability teams for the Technology Platform.
- Oversee design, deployment, and management of the organization's infrastructure.
- Drive automation of deployment, configuration management, and monitoring processes.
- Select and implement appropriate DevOps tools and platforms.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressively complex related experience.
- People management experience required.
- Proven experience implementing and managing DevOps and SRE practices.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Proficiency in AWS & Google Cloud.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing complex projects and initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Experience developing and executing strategic visions for DevOps and SRE functions.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $175,000 to $220,000 USD.
- Potential eligibility for annual bonus and/or equity grant.
