Full Job Description
Role Purpose:
Position within the Finance organization, aiming to be a key leader and regional finance point of contact regarding Financial Planning and Analysis, commercial activities related to profitability, as well as analytical and reporting activities related to the P&L, Profitability and Costs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive the financial performance across Americas through effective planning, forecasting and business insights based on data and stakeholder feedback
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual reporting pertaining to the P&L for the region, covering our 5 component countries
- Operates closely and act as a business partner with the Americas stakeholders, whilst having an independent professional opinion to influence, support and collaborate yet maintain strong financial ethics
- Coordinates with in-market Financial Controllers all activities related to commercial finance, including regular reviews, governance activities, support and changes
- Works closely with Group teams for intersects of commercial support and accounting data, as well as best practices
- Works collaboratively across one finance team with the ability to contribute to discussions beyond the regional focus. Act a regional subject matter expert on FP&A matters and related reporting
- Drives financial compliance with existing company financial controls policies
- Contributes to the calibration and creation of financial controls policies and coordinate proper policy interpretation and execution in the region
- Makes recommendations to improve close processes and engage with the implementation team
- Assists with other regional initiatives, e.g. budgeting, forecasting, sales reporting and the automation of manual processes as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience of FP&A and commercial finance
- Proven experience in the professional services industry or similar
- Certified Public Accountant
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of ERP and Excel
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Microsoft D365 experience preferred
- Shared Services and global team experience preferred
