Director of Cath Lab

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Cath Lab. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Cardiovascular Services Department, working with patients from adolescent to geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:

• Establish goals and objectives aligned with the facility.
• Develop and manage the annual department operating and capital budgets
• Direct daily operations of assigned department/s
• Maintain objectivity in decision-making, utilizing facts to support decisions
• Ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Serve as a resource to employees and customers, demonstrating visibility and knowledge of issues
• Demonstrate flexibility in response to change
• Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization and with internal/external customers
• Direct performance of staff, including hiring, firing, and discipline

Requirements

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and/or accredited school of radiology and/or accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years of experience in Cardiovascular Services
• 2 years of management experience in a related field

Preferred Experience:

• Director of Cardiovascular Services

Required Certifications/Licensure:

• Possess a current Texas State License or AART, ACVT, or RCIS

Qualifications:

• RNs must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy, AART, ACVT, or RCIS; BLS certification
