Alligator Dental is looking for a Dental Practice Manager who will oversee the daily operations of our San Marcos dental practice, ensuring a high standard of patient care and efficient management of resources. The Dental Practice Manager will lead by example, maintain the practice culture, and support team development while ensuring financial viability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and approval of clinical staff timesheets.
- Manage clinical staffing schedules to ensure proper coverage and optimal patient flow.
- Use your own time efficiently and effectively to help provide guidance and positive influence within the practice.
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet patient needs and operational demands.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Foster a positive, patient-first culture within the practice.
- Lead by example in professionalism, patient care, and teamwork.
- Step in and help in any and all areas of the practice (clinical skill/license permitting).
- Coach and develop existing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Address conflicts early, provide constructive feedback, and document coaching sessions.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with partner doctors and associates.
- Schedule and lead monthly team meetings to ensure alignment and address any issues.
- Identify potential negative outcomes or risks early on and communicate them to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all coaching, situations, and feedback.
- Utilize support department resources and keep teams informed of changes in the practice.
- Maintain consistent check-ins with regional operations teams to ensure alignment on practice goals and strategies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience in management including P&L oversight
- Strong leadership and team development skills to build and coach a high performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet OSHA, CDC, ADA, and HIPAA standards
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and tools
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Dental management experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
