Style Crest is looking for a Counter Sales associate to work in the Willowbrook area of our Houston, TX location. In this role you will be working in a branch environment involving all functions of the day-to-day operations. Assisting with branch sales growth, and delivering amazing customer service while maintaining sound inventory management processes.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Create and develop long lasting relationships with installers, contractors, and homeowners.
- Provide amazing customer service while helping customers (delivery/will call orders, quotes, product/project solutions, and general inquiries).
- Maintain and create a showroom environment that is clean, professional, and highly functional.
- Receive and generate orders and quotes via text, phone, email, and in person.
- Ordering product from local suppliers (special orders).
- Partner/collaborate with the Territory Sales Managers and other Style Crest departments.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment, always!
- Perform all other duties needed to win.
- Able to drive company vehicle (vendor pick up and customer delivery).
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Epicor Eagle).
- Building products knowledge and experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Amazing customer service skills.
- Professional telephone and email skills/communication.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 100 lbs.
- Obtain and maintain power equipment certifications (forklift, pallet jack, side loader, etc).
