Core Maker/ Molding Technician

1 Resource Group has immediate openings for Foundry Worker for the Coremaker/Molding department in Port Arthur, TX. As a coremaker/molding, you will play a crucial role in our operations. You will be responsible for assembling, molding, and finishing various components utilizing core-making techniques. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products that meet the expectations of our clients and customers. This is a entry level position with room for growth!

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate molding machines to produce molded components.
• Prepare and mix sand and resin to create molds and cores according to specifications.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage the inventory of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Clean printed cores using brushes and vacuums

• Paint cores using mold wash either by brushing or flow coating or swabbing
• Prepping cores by getting a partial fit
• Operate a crane
• Operate a front end loader
• Operate a forklift
