Panelmatic, Inc. was founded in 1957 in Youngstown, OH to serve manufacturing industries with the design and build of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. We have produced control packages for many of America's top corporations in the chemical, environmental, food, pulp and paper, rubber, petroleum, pharmaceutical, glass, metals, and utilities industries. Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented candidate who will lead the accounting and finance duties within our organization to fit into our dynamic team. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Panelmatic offers a challenging, rewarding, and fun work experience.  Job Duties:

·        Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP for all subsidiaries

·        Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support overall Company objectives

·        Manage and develop the team for all accounting aspects

·        Create and/or implement best practices to support efficiency and spending opportunities

·        Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity

·        Analyze jobs and manufacturing costs

·        Lead external auditors for financial review, taxes, 401k, and ESOP engagements

·        Performing other duties and supporting staff as required or assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

·        CPA certification required

·        Five or more years of experience in accounting required

·        Three or more years of experience closing books for monthly financials required

·        Three or more years of experience managing the work and training others required

·        Knowledge of financial software, ERP systems, accounting procedures, and GAAP required

·        Outstanding organizational skills required

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required

·        Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required

·        Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required

·        Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required

·        Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 26lbs or more required

·        Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four-plus hours at a time required

·        Alignment with company core values required

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Three or more years of experience closing multi-location books for monthly financials preferred

·        Three or more years of experience with project or POC accounting preferred

·        Experience in ERP integration preferred
