UWorld is looking for an Advanced Placement Economics Teacher to support our team as a curriculum consultant and content author. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write, review, and revise content for our AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics course resources. Job Responsibilities:
This project based/consulting role will report to the Social Studies Curriculum Manager. The Content Author will create materials for UWorld social studies question banks, curriculum products, and participate in product development.
- Write AP style questions with comprehensive explanations
- Revise and provide constructive feedback on content written by other authors
- Generate classroom activities that reflect existing AP blueprint standards
- Validate accuracy and relevance of content generated with other team members
- Work with other content experts to identify topics for new product development
- Assist other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
- Experience teaching at least one of the following AP courses is required: Macroeconomics or Microeconomics
- 2+ years of Social Studies teaching or curriculum writing experience
- Experience teaching any of the following AP courses is a plus: Human Geography, World History, US History, or US Government
- Strong knowledge of AP course frameworks

- Proficient in MS Office/working knowledge of IT
