UWorld is looking for a Contract Advanced Placement Economics Teacher to support some project work with our AP College Prep team. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write content for our web-based materials in high school AP Social Studies in areas that include Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, among others. We seek individuals with an unending passion for education who strive to develop an exceptional product that contributes to easier and stress-free learning.
This ground-floor opportunity is long-term, on-site, and authors will have the potential to engage in the product life cycle from planning and development to completion and maintenance.

Requirements
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
- 2+ years of Social Studies teaching or curriculum writing experience
- Experience teaching least one of the following AP is required: Macroeconomics or Microeconomics
- Experience teaching any of the following AP courses is a plus: Human Geography, World History, US History, or US Government
- Strong knowledge of AP course frameworks

Job Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Social Studies Curriculum Manager. The Content Author will create materials for UWorld social studies question banks, curriculum products, and participate in product development.
- Write a wide variety of questions with comprehensive explanations
- Develop simple and elegant images that visualize the written explanations
- Play a key role in development, planning, and execution of curriculum projects
- Provide revisions and constructive feedback on content written by other authors
- Collaborate with management and work closely with other content experts to create questions and products as a team
- Assists other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
- Manages time effectively while multi-tasking
