Full Job Description
- This position provides analysis and reporting to support financial management across the Americas region for the purpose of improving profitability, managing risk, and enhancing financial decision making.
- This position works closely with company managers to provide business and client focused support. Specific areas of responsibility include the annual budget, forecasts, pricing and proposal support, financial modelling, profitability reviews, reporting and analysis of key performance metrics, and currency risk management.
Role tasks and responsibilities
- Collect and analyze financial data to create financial models and reports, such as P&L accounts, Profitability Analysis, Cost Analysis, as well as utilization metrics.
- Provide decision support to management by analyzing financial information and identifying key trends and opportunities
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement
- Communicate financial results and recommendations to management
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze data
- Continuously improve financial processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a financial analysis role (FP&A preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and financial modelling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CFA or CPA is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferred
- Ability to perform detailed analyses while seeing the big picture
- Willingness to take responsibility and an ability to produce accurate and high-quality work in a deadline driven environment
- Maintain an independent, informed, and objective approach to issues
- Ability to make ethical decisions and maintain strict confidentiality
