CNC Programmer

1 Resource Group is hiring for a CNC Mill Programmer Supervisor. Our client is searching for an innovative programmer with creative solutions to implement fast, newer tooling into our programs.

• Programming, modern approach utilizing faster, newer tooling
• Proficiency using Gibbs, EdgeCam, and/or MasterCam
• 3 Axis and 5 Axis programming
• Creating and editing machine posts
• In depth knowledge of CNC G-Codes. Additional familiarity with Heidenhein programming is a plus
• Drawing, use AutoCad, Inventor or Solidworks to draw/edit models
• Supervising must work well with others and supervise with a teamwork mentality.
• Thorough knowledge of machining and machining center operations
• Ability to operate CNC Machining center
• Knowledge and experience with precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of Lean – World Class Manufacturing methods
• Training musty be willing and able to train new hires
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, to all levels of a manufacturing organization
• Demonstrates a professional and positive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement
• Exhibit strong time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects
• Willingness to learn and be open-minded
• Attention to details and problem solving
• Must work on the shop floor in a machine shop
