Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare professionals in delivering clinical care to patients in various settings.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide comfort and support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  • Support daily activities and assist patients with personal care needs as required.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the clinical team promptly.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team to facilitate care.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
