We are looking for a Claims Team Leader here at INSHUR, based in Irving, TX. You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories, including the US, UK, and the Netherlands, and new European countries as we expand.
Supported by and reporting to Chanel Jones, you'll be joining a friendly and accomplished team of claim professionals in the US who believe in delivering world-class customer service at scale.
What you'll do
As our Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and developing a team of up to 10 Claim Specialists who will be handling commercial auto claims across the country. In this role, you will be a key leader in our new regional office in Irving, TX.
We don’t have a checklist of skills - our hiring process is much more about aptitude and passion than ticking boxes. So don’t worry if you’ve not used a particular tool or checked off all the listed skills and experience.
That said, below is a guideline of skills that we think would make you successful in this role.
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Have plenty of experience handling personal auto claims and/or commercial auto claims.
- Have at least twelve months’ experience supervising direct reports who were assigned to personal auto claims and/or commercial auto claims.
- Currently possess an adjuster’s license in Texas, or can obtain an adjuster’s license in Texas within 45 days.
- Are passionate about mentoring and developing claim professionals.
- Have experience hiring, developing and/or managing claim specialists.
- Helped to define or deliver process improvements in a claims environment.
- Understand the value of teamwork and collective achievement.
- Can commute to/from our office in Irving (Las Calinas), TX, on a daily basis.
