We are looking for a Claims Specialist III (CS3) to join us at INSHUR! We’re based in Dallas, TX ⭐ , with offices in New York City 🗽and Westlake, CA ⛰️ and our company embraces a hybrid working model, allowing you to thrive in both collaborative office settings and the comfort of your own home 🏠. You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely while also connecting with your colleagues at our Dallas office at least 4 days a week initially and reducing to 1 day a week following your orientation, typically 90 days, fostering a dynamic and supportive environment.
You’ll be working on re-inventing insurance in exciting markets across multiple territories including the UK 🇬🇧, US 🇺🇸, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱, with plans to expand into new European countries.
Supported by (and reporting to) Claims Manager and Team Leaders, you'll be joining a friendly team of 50 specialists who believe in delivering great customer service at scale.

What you'll do
As our Claim Specialist III (CS3) you will be responsible for handling and resolving commercial auto claims across the United States. The claims that are assigned to you will involve coverage investigations, liability negotiations, third-party bodily injury, and litigation, and you will be responsible for setting and maintaining reserves, assigning defense counsel, negotiating settlements with attorneys, issuing payments, and interpreting policy contracts.

- Experience handling third-party bodily injury claims in a personal auto or commercial auto space at a recognized insurance carrier
- Have already secured an insurance license in Texas, or can secure a license within 30 days.
- Ability to secure a license in California and/or New York within 45 days.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand that customer satisfaction and retention is driven by handling claims well.
- Are passionate about building a successful career in Claims.
- Helped resolve customer concerns in your most recent role.

- Ability to work from our office in Irving, TX 4 days a week during your orientation period ( typically 90-days) and then to 1 day a week in the office thereafter

What to expect from the process:
Screen & Intro: 20-minute call with the Talent Team to discuss the role and your experience.
First Interview: 60-minute video call with a Claims Manager or Team Lead and People Partner to delve into the role, including technical questions and an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Our budget for this role is up to $72,500pa and we will take into account any previous experience when agreeing on the final offer.
