Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented City Permit Coordinator to join our team. As a City Permit Runner, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth acquisition of city permits and ensuring timely processing of required documentation for various projects. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects meet all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit permit applications to various city departments.
• Monitor the status of permit applications and follow up as needed to expedite approvals.
• Communicate with city officials and departments to address any issues or questions related to permit applications.
• Ensure that all permit-related documentation is accurately completed and submitted on time.
• Coordinate with project managers and contractors to ensure all necessary permits are obtained.
• Maintain a detailed log of all permits submitted, in process, and approved.
• Stay informed of any changes to city regulations or requirements that may impact the permitting process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in solar management, construction planning, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role or experience working with city permitting offices is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in Google Drive and Google Doc
• Ability to communicate effectively with city officials, contractors, and team members.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
