As the Child Experience Manager, in collaboration with Teneo Linguistics Company, you will be the guiding force ensuring that every child's journey with us is marked by growth, healing, and empowerment. Lead a dedicated team and orchestrate experiences that transform lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the direct care services, ensuring that every child receives optimal care, support, and engagement during their stay.
- Lead and mentor a passionate team, including Youth Care workers, teachers, recreational specialists, and other direct care staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to curate holistic child-centric programs, blending education, recreation, and emotional well-being. - Monitor and ensure the quality of services, addressing any areas of concern promptly. - Foster a culture of continuous learning among staff, facilitating training and professional development opportunities. - Act as a bridge between the children and the management, ensuring the children's needs, feedback, and concerns are addressed at the organizational level. - Regularly review and assess programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance the child experience. - Collaborate with other managers and the Program Director for integrated service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Child Development, Education, Social Work, or related fields.
- Significant experience in child-centric roles with a focus on program management or direct care services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by refugee children.
- A compassionate, innovative, and solution-oriented approach.
- Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, will be considered an advantage though not mandatory.
