Cashier

As a Cashier at Roost Chicken Salad & Deli, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with financial transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all customer payments are accurately processed and recorded, while also maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service at the cash register
• Accurately process customer payments using the point of sale system
• Create and maintain accounting records for daily cash flow
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient food order processing
• Follow all cash handling and accounting procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role
• Strong numerical and cash handling skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record keeping
• Proficiency in using point of sale systems and other computerized tools
