Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries with care.
  • Schedule appointments and update patient records in our management system accurately.
  • Provide information about our services, policies, and procedures to patients and their families.
  • Assist with resolving issues or concerns by listening empathetically and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all interactions.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve customer service techniques and knowledge of pediatric care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and managing multiple software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
  • Empathy and patience when interacting with children and their families.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
