Business Continuity Data Analyst

The Business Continuity Data Analyst will support the rapidly growing Business Continuity program. The role will involve querying and analyzing large amounts of complex and disparate data to help drive the Business Continuity program's plans and help improve technology within the team.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Work with Leadership to prioritize business and information needs.
• Building SOPs for gathering data and searching specific systems.
• Regular control monitoring report resolutions.
• Use individual problem-solving and analytical skills to authenticate details and data.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Advanced MS SQL Server based analysis skills.
• ETL, Complex Joins, Functions, Stored Procedures, Loops.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.).
• Experience assessing data integrity (completeness, accuracy, explaining impact of data integrity on decisions/assumptions).
• Experience examining and evaluating processes and information systems, recommending controls to ensure reliability and data integrity.
